Not a lot going on so how about a little OT conversation?

David Fangupo is a 350 pound RB that is committed to Hawaii.

what do you think about this guy?

what would you do with him if your a HC. (i.e. what position would he play for you, etc)

I think that any highlight video of a RB taht only has 3 runs of more than 30 yards on it pretty much answers that question. LOL

He's a big bastard though. Wouldn't want him barreling down on me.

Those first two runs he is moving pretty good (a lot faster than people way smaller anyway) i think he moves pretty good to be 350. I'd redshirt his big ass, get him eating right and lifting and see what he could do @ 250 or so.

Im sure he'll prob just play DT or something but he's an interesting recruit imo.

btw i played against a guy in HS that was 6'5" over 300 and ran FB sometimes and he was basically unstoppable. This guy was just an insane athlete though as he could dunk a bball with ease. If not for getting into tons of trouble and im sure dicking off in class, there is no doubt in my mind he could have played in the league.

Id probably try to get him to drop about 60-70 lbs and make him a TE or just leave him as is and make him a DL.

He moves very well for 350. I would use in certain packages as RB but likely on the DT or maybe even at Guard.

Why is he not getting looks at DT?? Pointless to waste that kind of athleticism on him just being a situational back.

He's going to have an awfully hard time doing much in D1 where everybody's big. Get his ass in the A gap.

That kind of athleticism, put him at guard and let him pull a lot.

I assume its actually undetermined where he will end up as he wont be on campus until next year.

If I had a decent OL and RB already, I'd put him at FB and open holes you could drive a truck through. But he's a natural DT who'd wear the hell out of the OL snap-after-snap.

Original Vid shut down on me...

Big fella can move. The biggest question is if he would have the stamina to play offense alot. You guys have some good ideas. If he dropped a little bit of weight I would play him at DT and put him in on short yardage/goal line situations on Offense....

everybody remember The Fridge (Da Bears)??? He was damned awesome. Nobody could stop his big ass.
