I may be wrong. Word now is that it was in fact weed. I thought I read performance enhancing drugs.

Any "word" you hear is unreliable anyway because the NFL has a confidentiality agreement (stupid) with the players preventing them from divulging what substance it was for which he tested positive. Since there's more shame attached to PEDs than w/ weed, they're either gonna say weed or make up some BS story about fertility drugs. Cough! Robert Mathis cough.

I'm pretty sure the league can distinguish between PEDs and controlled substances. They can't state the particular substance.
