Tragic..From everything I have heard he was a real good guy. A good Giant. Always played hard. Condolences to his family. Thoughts and prayers to him and his family.

I am having a hard time remembering him playing for the Giants. Did he play center field?

Yeah..I think I remember a story where he wore long underwear at the Stick because of the cold and wind. He had a good sense of humor. Eric Burns had some real nice things to say about him on MLB Network today.

This is fucking tragic. By all accounts Hambone was a great teammate. And he was an excellent CF. Just tragic

Loved Hamilton. So did my wife. She and I really lived and breathed the Giants during the early years of our marriage, and Hamilton was one of her favorites.

Was sad to see him traded back in 1998. Of course, Burks went on to become one of my favorite Giants of all time as well.

RIP
