i just saw his twitter and saw this:

He went Clemson a month or so ago. Tech was going to require him to finish his Associates degree but Clemson was trying to get a waiver for that from the NCAA.

From what I understand he couldn't qualify at Tech without taking some additional courses, so he's apparently chosen Clemson as his new home.

I wish him well.

This is pretty small potatoes for Clemson.

If they can get players cars and parents jobs, surely they can figure a way to bypass the NCAA on something so trivial as academic requirements.

It's not a question of what Clemson can get away with, it's what will happen if the NCAA allows recruits to be admitted without the necessary requirements? Don't know if the NCAA wants to open that door...
