We give credit where credit is due.... The kid has been sharp the last few weeks. No denying it.
Please remember to see your doctor if your erection has lasted for more than 4 hours.
You have to hand it to the guy.... He's still missing some of his long balls, but he seems way more aggressive than in past games. It was nice seeing him fire it into coverage a few times. He seems confident.
Let's hope it keeps up.
There's no doubt he's on fire. And I think part of the confidence he's showing right now is due to the fact that the last 2 weeks he's actually been accurately throwing the deep ball.
Right around this time last season the Bengals, Dalton, and the receivers caught fire for about a month before the wheels came off the offense. Granted last season it was against MUCH easier competition, we'll see where we stand in a few weeks. The next 2 weeks will be good tests.
Last year after our 8th game we were in the middle of a 4 game losing streak..... But you're right, our big winning streak started right after that when we won 4 in a row. Interestingly though, Dalton's best yardage output in that entire streak was 230. And his best yardage output for the entire second half of the season was in Pittsburgh when he had 278 -- And that was a very quiet 278 as the offense was awful most of the day.
we should end up 11-5, that's still pretty good.
There isn't a team left on the schedule we can't beat. Anything less than 12-4 would be a disappointment to me. We're a solid contender for a first round bye.
you still have 2 games versus the Ravens, but yea i agree there isn't a team on your schedule you can't beat, the only concern i'd have is you're still the Bengals and you guys don't live up to expectation.

I'm looking forward to our two matchups. You guys are still the defending champs until dethroned, and you deserve respect for that. That said, I like our chances. We also have Indy at home, and that helps.
What expectation?
Almost the entire media and most common sports fans think of this team as a marginal playoff contender at best. I'd say they live up to that expectation just fine.
As for the Ravens -- Wake me up when they're good again.
