I did hear some were high on Vega & thought he might make the team. I think if we did need depth later in the season at DE he might make it onto the active roster.

Don't know anything about Vega. Looking at the rest of the PS squad all are capable of playing in the NFL with Tanney being the current exception. Teach him to read the defense and some touch, I think he will become a capable NFL QB.

Remember a team can still sign him away from us, but he will have to be placed on their active roster for a few weeks. I don't think that will happen.

I think Kyle Orton would easily start for Oakland. They kept scrub 3 QB's and cut this dude despite a 4th round investment. I'm thinking he must SUCK

I would consider it a blessing getting cut by that inept franchise, not an indictment on the player at all. It wouldn't hurt to bring him to the practice Squad & develop him, at least he played against SEC competition.

TBH I dont know enough about the kid to disagree with you ... So many kids out there right not ... I dont run and try to watch film on them all ... If we pick him up ... I'll be digging trying to find out who he is though
