Spurs win. Execution by both teams at the end was good. Parsons took the shot probably should have passed, but since hes the highest paid player on Dallas....

It is rivalry game AND a very important statement game for both.


The MAVERICKS believe they are capable of beating SA.

It was important to win that game and establish that even with a depleted roster, the Spurs are not going to relinquish their spot.

It is not different then when Indiana played Miami all last season. It means a lot more than 1 game.

So without a doubt it was a must-win game for SA.
If they were playing some other team, of course not....but the Mavs are a different story.

Tiago Splitter would have given him a little more size to think about at the rim than Bonner and Diaw


And Kawahi Leonard is really the only other slasher who will challenge Chandler.
Bellinelli and Green are not going to really attack the rin from the swingman spot.


But he did play great.
