Nasty Car accident a few weeks ago. Guy ran a light a T-Boned the passenger side. JD happens to be that passenger. Broke a bunch of shit. Said that side air-bag saved his life.

Broken Ribs..which sucks for him. Hurts to breath. He showed up at Zigs last night to say hi for a bit. Was there today. Mainly because he cannot resist Blades cawk, that he had been so longingly without.

Yeah, mate, I was pretty fortunate as a kid to have rich parents.

They took my brother and I to the States every year for around 12 years, mostly to Hawaii, L.A., S.D & S.F., with a few East-Coast road trips thrown in every couple of years. They lived in Roanoke Virginia for a couple years in the 70's, so we got to go there quite a few times as well!

I've since taken my Wife to 21 different U.S. States in the last 2 years - she loves it over there, too, not surprisingly. Next trip will be a SoCal road trip, as she's always wanted to go to San Diego zoo. She deserves it, as she's put up with me for over 5 years! hehe

If you go to San Diego, let me know and I'll give you some inside info.

I just Googled the Gaslamp district, and I am pretty sure our hotel was in that area. Granted, it was back in 1996, so I could be completely wrong... hehe

You wouldn't believe how much has changed since then. New buildings, restoration of historic houses and bldgs, replacing dilapidated shanties with massive condo towers, new bars and restaurants, night clubs, etc. It is really amazing down there!
