I like EHB's team a lot, but Jeffro's offense is simply to good and would score more runs

Jeffro in 6

I like EHB's rotation over mine, but I think my lineup has plenty of power to get the job done.

Jeffro.

With a little more power I would have gone EHB as I really like his rotation but I gotta slightly lean Jeffro here.

This is tough.

I like EHB for the pitching and Jeffro for the lineup, a lot.

Bullpen is what it comes down to, and that leans EHB. (Even though I like Jeffros group, there is no closer imo.)

Ehb but I almost didn't vote for myself. Hoping my pitching would be enough.

Hector Rendon is the Cubs closer. He had 30 saves in 2015.

He lost his job during the season though. And he's listed fourth. Which I take as a 6th-7th inning guy.

I like him as a reliever just fine.(I really Betances and Davis, as setup men.) But he's relatively unproven as a closer. Especially when compared to the opposing bullpen which has Soria as a closer. Who, imo, was a the best in baseball, as a Royal, prior to injury. I would've went with Kimbrel as closer personally, but I view guys in the their peak years (3-4 season span. The first four years of his career for Soria.) and Sorias was outstanding.

If Rondon is unproven as a closer, then what would you call Trevor Rosenthal, the player with the most saves over the past 2 seasons?

Since 2014:
Rosenthal: 138.3 IP, 4 wins-10 losses, 2.65 ERA, 93 saves, 9 blown saves, 2.7 K/BB, 11 K/9, 1.34 WHIP,.231 BA
Rondon:133.1 IP, 10 wins-8 losses, 2.05 ERA, 59 saves, 8 blown saves, 4.4 K/BB, 9 K/9,1.03 WHIP,.215 BA

A young, power armed closer. Who can be sporadic. (He sucked in 2014, got a lot of saves though.). Last year he was better than the year before, brought his walks down a lot. Made it a lot easier on himself.

I said I like Rondon as a reliever just fine. He's never spent a full season at closer though. Plus you have him listed as your second guy out of the pen.

I think it was Milk who mentioned earlier that reliever was the deepest position in this Mock. I agree with that.
