Good to see Crosby fight there. Came right after Morrow started a fight with Letang, who had an injured hand entering the game.

Both players should've ditched the helmets. It looked like Crosby might have been reaching to take it off but stopped when Niskanen didn't make the motion. Guys with visors need to do that on set fights like that though.

I always thought there was some kind of rule about fighting with visors on. Good fight though :D

the only rule is that you get an extra minor penalty and misconduct if you instigate with a visor.

very admirable for Crosby to step up but all Pittsburgh needs is to for him to break a finger

why the hell didnt anyone else on that team step up

It had to be Crosby. Anyone else wouldn't fire the team up as much. That effort was awful. I'm afraid Bylsma might be losing the room. Crosby has to fuel the turnaround.

There's a Netcrashing article on TSN right now insinuating that it might be a bad idea for Crosby to fight, mentioning the fact that his team is 1-4 when he does. I think it's more a testament to player frustration levels during losses than anything else.

It always makes me nervous to see a star player fight, I always think of Iginla breaking his hand during a scrap a few years ago. But it's still pretty cool to see guys like Crosby, Datsyuk, and Lecavelier drop the gloves.

It was an entertaining scrap. I like the way Sid stood up for Tanger, who shouldn't have been fighting to begin with.

5-2 loss is a turnaround?

I'd be more interested to see the record AFTER each fight.

I remember Calgary having a payoff run where Iggy fought once per round.
He was pretty good at picking his spots that year. Ohlund for the Nucks (long running battle), Lecavalier for the Bolts, I forget the others combatants, but they weren't scrubs (no offense to Niskanen)

could be wrong, but I think she means going forward from thursday.

Yeah, how they respond is huge. Two wins this weekend and that was the low point. More shitty play and a serious shakeup is needed.

Lmao, I just finally watched this video... I'll give Cindy this, he got one good right in. Other than that he fights like a bitch tugging like that, so bitchish. But at least he showed a little grit.
