Good to see Crosby fight there. Came right after Morrow started a fight with Letang, who had an injured hand entering the game.
Both players should've ditched the helmets. It looked like Crosby might have been reaching to take it off but stopped when Niskanen didn't make the motion. Guys with visors need to do that on set fights like that though.
I always thought there was some kind of rule about fighting with visors on. Good fight though

very admirable for Crosby to step up but all Pittsburgh needs is to for him to break a finger
why the hell didnt anyone else on that team step up
It had to be Crosby. Anyone else wouldn't fire the team up as much. That effort was awful. I'm afraid Bylsma might be losing the room. Crosby has to fuel the turnaround.
5-2 loss is a turnaround?
There's a Netcrashing article on TSN right now insinuating that it might be a bad idea for Crosby to fight, mentioning the fact that his team is 1-4 when he does. I think it's more a testament to player frustration levels during losses than anything else.
could be wrong, but I think she means going forward from thursday.
