The Isles have been on the good side of bad luck this year in that regard...but that's not why they scare me. It would be nice for Sid to score on Nabby so we can stop hearing about the stupid "only starter never scored on" stat every time we play each other.

I wouldn't worry about it. The Penguins have plenty of players who can score with ease. Sid has become more of an assist guy than a goal scorer anyway.

It's not even that I think he couldn't do it (I mean, if the Isles don't stay disciplined, I can't see Sid not scoring on the PP at some point)...it's just that Steiggy and Errey SAY THE SAME DAMN THING OVER AND OVER. *sigh* I just have to accept that the apparent cost of our roster as a fan is those two blowhards in the booth. That said Bolts, if we meet up, good luck to ya...but for God's sake, keep Volek away.

Also, I think win or lose, the Isles facing the Pens is going to be very good for them. Obviously winning is good, but if they lose they'll have had to face the "cream of the crop" early in this team's postseason career. I remember the 07 postseason and having to face a great team in Ottawa, and man that prepared the Pens for the next two SCF runs.

It's funny I actually mute Pierre McGuire now. I find his comments annoying because he doesn't talk about the game. He just rambles on about useless facts.

It's going to be a fun series. I expect a lot of goals to be scored. Good luck to the Pens & all their fans. Win or lose I'm going to enjoy this series.
