Chances are, one of these guys will make the team and the other will be on the practice squad.

Royster isn't likely to be back. They are adding guys who can make plays and an impact who don't need the ball fed to them 20 times a game to be a factor. Because lets face it, Morris is the workhorse. Guys like Helu, Thompson and Jamison are guys that fill in nicely around a guy like Morris.

I don't know about you guys I want all the skins draft picks make the team I feel like if some of them dont make the team it was a wasted pick screw this draft 7 players but only keep 3 of thinking I hope shany keeps 4 rbs on roster screw this we need 4 te. I want to run run run pass this year it will keep rg3 healthy then when we get better wr we can pass run pass or pass pass pas or run pass pass

dude there are not many positions open . some draft picks may end up on the PS . They do EVERY year . i.e. compton last season

I want all the draft picks that are upgrades over the guys that are cut to make the team. The better the team, the less likely that some of those late round guys will stick. There's usually a reason that a guy goes in the 7th round. Doesn't mean that guy can't be a surprise, but odds are he won't be. They're typically depth guys or projects that may pan out in a few years. If a team has to have those picks make the squad to make it better, then I'd say the team is in trouble already.

The draft is a crap-shoot on many levels, particularly the later rounds. Do your due diligence and draft responsibly, then throw them at the wall and see what sticks.

Here's the thing... on good teams... there will be years when not all draft picks make the team. It's just the reality of being a good football team. In a way, we as Redskin fans have been conditioned over the past decade or more to expect all draft picks to make the team, because they've been in a constant state of rebuilding or just a bad team. This team is good now. And it has depth. So if a rookie does make the team you can probably count on them being pretty good, because they'd be beating out other solid to good players to earn their spot.

All I want at this point is for the Redskins front office to choose wisely and keep the players that will contribute to this team improving off their division winning playoff year last year.
