I rarely venture to ESPN.com these days for any reason because the wealth of information I can find by avoiding it is pretty substantial.

But this morning, I clicked on a link from a weblog story and it took me over to the WWL. Whilst there, I found this article:

San Francisco Giants' offense an enigma - ESPN

I was pleasantly shocked that it did not take any kind of negative tone about the team's lack of hitting. Instead it focused on the fact that the team wins despite a lack of punch from the plate. Crasnick did not try to explain anything away. He merely pointed out facts and let the reader decide.

Pretty decent article.

Pretty decent article.

decent article indeed, especially with the article published after the 5 game skid.

*I'm glad the bullpen got a mention!
