Man, most of the time, I'm in awe of these pro athletes. I mean, the skill and speed and stamina they possess is almost incomprehensible to me. It's almost depressing, I mean, my genes can't be that different from these athletes, but they are clearly superior in the hockey aspect. Every time you see a sick deke, a wicked wrist shot, a gorgeous no look pass, you have to wonder. Are these guys really human? Or are they something more? Something better?

Agreed! I still feel bad for Patrick Stefan too, and of course Leon Lett. The fortunate thing is that in each of these particular cases their team won the game anyway.

I noticed last night that on the swamp's main NHL page they had a feature on Craig Smith. When I saw his name and picture I assumed it would have something to do with this incident but it was actually written before it happened.
