Rock Strongo
My mind spits with an enormous kickback.
how hard is bard throwing now? still high 90's?
2010/2011 he was very good and had an ERA under 2 in 2010 over 74 innings. Then wanted to be a starter to make more money and lost it.
Since leaving the Red Sox organization 7 years ago he had stops in A-ball, AA, A+, rookie ball, and the puerto rican winter league from 2013-2017.
22.2 IP, 173 batters faced, 22.24 ERA, 16 Ks, 79 BBs, 23 HBP, 24 wild pitches
So you had a 60% chance of either being hit or walked by Bard. I'm not sure I've ever seen a pitcher lose it that bad and that quickly. And then to see him pitching in the majors again (and no walks so far) is incredible.

Del Bozo? Oh wait he was never on top of the cliff.I don't remember the last time a really good reliever completely fell off the cliff.
Rosenthal maybe?

Sorry it pains me to watch these Pirates play and seeing the likes of him get called from the Pen just to walk in a few runs gets old. Granted it was funny at first but now it is just old.
You know they still won't get the first overall pick. They will F that up also and go on a winning streak at some point to pass the O's.#EmbraceTheTank
he got very lucky, a lot here. 2nd half of 2018, as you pointed out, is why the sox didnt want him back.
the wheels started coming off
1st half, 1.77 ERA
40 IP, 16 walks
2nd half, 4.57 ERA
21 IP, 15 walks
k's/9 went up a tick, but everything else fell off.
9 IPDaniel Bard is the only person having a good 2020
Sox won that Quintana trade big time. Enjoy, Cubs! You dumped Quintana on us too. That was deal everybody knew was going to sting. The only reason they traded for him was because he was cheap. It wasn’t because he was good. Those kinds of deals never work out.
EDIT: I don’t see team avatars and I thought you were talking about the White Sox.
Bad trade, but what can you do? I’ll just enjoy being in first place while it lasts.Sox won that Quintana trade big time. Enjoy, Cubs!
Yeah, win some and you lose some.Bad trade, but what can you do? I’ll just enjoy being in first place while it lasts.
