For all the bitching about DD's inactivity in the offseason and midseason, I'm glad we stayed away from that one. He did not look good in the second half or postseason last year. That being said, it probably doesn't help that he didn't have a spring training.

Anytime he stays away from a bullpen, that bullpen is better off.
