More likely, it just means they have not finished second interviews yet.

Hexy is probably hoping the Kings let Sutter go. Don't count on it Hexy.

Why would he wait on just one coach? There's going to be a gazillion coaches available this offseason, it would be hard to strike out on all of them

I don't think he should wait if he finds the guy he wants for the job. All I'm saying is I think Sutter would be his first choice if he were available.

I don't think Craig Berube will be out of work long, I mean he did play junior hockey for the Medicine Hat Tigers so I expect him to be joining the Canucks in short order.
Is he going to take Kassian's spot in the lineup?

Imagine what he will do for Dorsett!

Meanwhile, former Flyer coaches Peter Laviolette and Ken Hitchcock have the number 2 and number 1 seeds in the Central Division. Until Ed Snider actually loosens his grip, the Flyers, much like their emblem, will continue to live in the 70's. Hopefully Ron Haxtell has free reign to do what he wants without interference. The Flyers culture of living in the past has to end for them to succeed.

Don't forget John Stevens has two rings as an assistant in LA.

Who should the Flyers hire?

Mike Babcock - No brainier if they can land him.

Todd McLellan - Showing that there's friction between him and a star player kinda throws this one off. Is Thorton being a baby or is McLellan really a jerk?

Claude Julien - I don't think he's going to be fired. If so, jump on him if they can't get Babcock

Dan Bylsma - 100% no. You see how he turned the Penguins into a bunch of crybaby goons.

John Stevens - As an assistant, sure. Don't think he's head coach material just yet.

John Tortorella - uh NO!!!!

Terry Murray - Murray is comfortable where he is and doing a good job developing the prospects with the Phantoms.
