from Ian Macintyres (Vancouver Sun) twitter last night during game:

Coyotes just honored a U.S. colonel for service, including Afghanistan. His reward: $25 gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse.

Me thinks this writer from Vancouver might have an agenda.

Any talk of if he got in the game for free? Sat in the owners box? Met players from both teams? Attend any skates or tour the lockerroom? Those things would be priceless to me.

Yes I completely agree with you.

I'm just not sure about the writers intentions.

Actually, I'm just not sure about anyones intentions when they twizzle...

I don't think they've hit "Major League" bad yet. I mean the league is paying the bills. Awhile back the Islanders had an 18 million dollar payroll & were flying commercial. Yes they were truly the laughingstalk of the league then.

It was probably only good for 24 hours and needed to be used in a state on the east coast.

That's an insult and they would have been better off with just the honor and leave it at that.

Correction, It probably had to be used at an OutBack in Kabul.

Those guys have to be tired. Playing hockey and working the concessions in between periods must be exhausting.
