Press Conference for a practice squad player??? So, we can't blame the media for covering it when the Jerry obviously wants as much mileage out of this as possible...

He and Garrett are the polar opposites on this. Garrett says it's only about Football and “We’ve got to be careful about spending too much time on a practice roster player". Meanwhile, Jerrys out buying balloons and selling tickets to the event...wouldn't be surprised if he kisses Sam just to make sure he makes the evening news in every City...

maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see this as a PR move. I actually think they brought Sam in to see the football player and add a skill set (rushing the passer) should the mash unit arrive in Dallas again. Wouldn't shock me he's let go without playing a down in Dallas...guess time will tell this story

Depends on if they hold up a jersey at the presser. Jerry is going to make his money. I really thought he would have been one of the 5 seventh round picks. I want to see him play. I think he can help.

Yeah I heard Garrett, and he is right but he has no control over JJ. True about the Wednesday press conference, but the headlines do say...Cowboys schedule news conference to announce Sam signing. The Media will run this into the ground and Jerry will be smiling for the cameras.

I agree and disagree. I do honestly think he was brought here for Football reasons. We need pass rushers (at least until Spencer and Lawrence can play) and we all know that. But, now that he is here Jerry is going to milk all the PR out of it that he can get...

It will all depend on injuries and if this defense can't get to the QB whether he see's the 53 or not. If they can't get to the QB he may be brought up, if we have injuries like the last two years he will be brought up.

All ive heard since the Rams let him go was he isnt that good. I have heard he did his damage vs 3rd and 4rth teamers. I know he got Manziel twice . I dont think Manzeil would be playing with 4rth teamers.

I may be wrong but I think I heard Sam's jersey was the 7th best selling Rams jersey this off season. I doubt that's the case in Dallas. Guarantee I won't be buying one.
