I have tried telling these idiots for years that they are not "America's Team". You can't reason with most of these people. Hopefully the numbers speak for themselves.

Their team is on the decline and in a state of confusion and now there is evidence that people actually can't stand their organization.

Come on Breed, we both know that 90% of the likes for the Cowboys come from Illegal Mexican Emigrants, Dizzy Blondes who got snookered by Jerry Jones, and kids who grew up in other NFL cities but choose the Cowboys to be different.

Yeah, I can get the Pats popularity as whatever else they may be or what people think they may be. They are no doubt winners who year in, year out field a team that's all up in the mix for SB contention. The Cowboys through have sucked swollen blue whale nuts almost as consistently and as long as the Skins have. It doesn't help that talking heads like Skip Bayless and shows like First Take and even certain NFLN talking heads/shows pimp the Boys regardless if they good, half ass decent, or hot dog-shit.

There is no counterpoint. Demarcus Ware got a ring and contributed in a major way. He easily could have been MVP if Von didn't force 2 turnovers...well that and Wade Phillips dominance.

Dallas has had one of the largest fan bases throughout out history of the NFL, and I have come to expect the hate. It doesn't bother me. I do have to ask, what does D Ware getting a ring have to do with it?

Duke you seem angry?

1 . The Cowboys have loyal fans and bandwagon fans just like every other team in the league maybe more. This is a result of being branded Americas Team by NFL films in the 70's. Did the fans embrace the moniker sure they did and part of the reason they have a large fan base was Marketing. Tex Schramn offered to have Dallas host a 2nd Thanksgiving Day game when no other club wanted it. Tex was smart he knew that would expand the fan base and would give the Cowboys exposure. Of course all that winning back in the 70's had a lot to do with it 2. 1990 to 1995 helped again. As far as the rest of the NFL fanbase not respecting Cowboy fans who gives a rats azz if your a fan your a fan of your team regardless if your bandwagon fan your jumping off for Denver or Seattle or whoever is winning at the time.

2. Most Football fans that do not recognize that Jerry Jones is both brilliant and Stubborn to a fault are just not paying attention.
Jerry is a brilliant businessman who has the sales ability to sell sand to people that live on the beach and Snow cones in Minneapolis in January in a blizzard. He was behind the new money coming into the league back in the early 90's with the new TV contract to Fox. He also was the driving force behind the move of the Rams back to LA which will bring in over 15 billion into the NFL over the next 10 years. Oh and he did a little thing marketing wise turning the almost bankrupt Dallas Cowboys which he bought for 140 million into a club that is worth 1.2 BILLION Dollars! That does not sound like a clown to me.
Now the success that GM Jerry has had is suspect at best. the Cowboys are .500 sine 1995 when they last won a SB. If you want to call our GM a Clown I would agree.
Clint Murchinson Jr was associated with the American Nazi Party by being the son of Clint Murchinson SR . If you really want to dig on most any Professional sports owner you can find some dirt. As a Cowboys fan I will not hang my head in shame because a previous owner was the son of a wealthy American Nazi Party supporter from the 1950's. Why should I that's ancient History.

3 As Far as being a Cowboys fan I love my Cowboys just like I believe you love your Redskins. I could go into mudslinging about all the mistakes that Jerry has made and even throw some mud around about stuff that the Dan Snyder and the Redskins have done wrong. What good will that do at the end of the day your still not going to respect or even like my Dallas Cowboys or Jerry Jones. I like to post on the Redskins board and try to do so with Respect for other posters and both My Cowboys and the Redskins.

I hate the Cowboys because they are consistently overrated by the media and are twins of the Redskins. Neither franchise owner has done anything other than attempt to buy good teams over the last 25 years. It looks like the Skins now have learned a little quicker.

I have no business there. I have never been to a Cowboys board nor will I. As such, your post doesn't really hold water with me.
