FFS, an 83-win Cardinals team once won the WS. Pretty sure the Rockies and D-Backs are better than that team.

The worst WS winning team of all-time is an interesting topic.

Makes me wonder who the worst all-time SB winning teams were as well. In football, I actually feel that in probably half of the seasons, the "best" team does not win it all. Such is the nature of single elimination tournaments.

I would presume each of the two most recent Giants teams would be up there. Possibly the 2012 Ravens as well. Eh, I guess that's a convo for the NFL board.

I still say 1987 Twins were the worst WS winning team. Negative run differential.
