Cornerback EJ Biggers in for a visit

They are supposedly looking at this guy as a safety, not a corner. I can't say I like some of these free agents Chip is bringing in, but I understand his strategy: he is trying to sign some depth players before he goes into the draft, so if he does not draft a good WR or S he has something to fall back on. The problem is, the fallbacks are not much to fall back on.

Rumors are they are shopping Boykin. Why I am not Chip, but Chip doesnt think he is an outside corner and he is a free agent after this year,which means he is one and gone. I personally would keep him and start him opposite Maxwell

Yuck. Biggers can't cover his own shadow. I'd rather roll with the guys we have now.

Biggers? He wasn't even good enough to play for the horrible Redskins secondary last year. Thankfully they have purged most of the Biggers quality players in their secondary roster during free agency this year.

It would a terrible pickup, even if he comes in as a cheap backup. Would rather take my chances with a rookie or Wolff. No thanks!

He's signed. Don't like it but then again there isn't much to fall back on at this stage. Like the Arijotutu pickup though, another special teams ace to add to an already impressive unit.

From all I read, this dude stinks ... but it does add fuel to the rumors that Boykin will very likely be included in a trade prior or during the draft.

If he makes the 53 man roster, you might as well get a fence post, stick it in the ground and put a helmet on it - that will provide better coverage than Biggers on his best day.

Take if from a Redskins fan: Biggers is horrid. If you get rid of Boykin and keep this guy, who couldn't see much playing time in a porous Redskins secondary last year, you've really got to question Chip Kelly on that.

Don't remember him playing on special teams, but our special teams outside of a few players like Akeem Davis (who was featured on Undrafted) was not so hot. Do you remember Chris Polk returning that kickoff for a TD against us in Week 3?
