I liked Palmer because he wanted to go to ND, and because he had a 1-3 record against ND. What's not to like.

Cuz he's the only QB in recent USC history to be worth a damn. He led Cincy to divisional championship and was a pro-bowler the same year, I believe.

Once upon a time many, many years ago (ok, mabye like 8 years ago) I do recall discussion of Carson possibly being the third best QB in the league behind P. Manning and Brady. This type of talk lasted maybe a year to year and a half.

Then he broke his leg in a playoff game and has been garbage ever since. Point being I don't see Carson doing Floyd, Fitzgerald or any other Cardinal recievers (hopefully R. Toma) any favors.

Yeah ... with that awesome Raiders team that he got sent off to. I'm not saying he was the greatest QB in the league ... far from it. I'm just saying he's been the only halfway decent QB to come out of USC in recent memory ... all the rest have really stunk it up or turned into nobodies in the NFL. I still LMAO everytime I see Sanchez & the butt fumble play!!!
