It was awesome that Rex had such a great series. That + his leadership and he really earned this third one. Always liked Recchi; even when his time was up with the Pens, I was happy he found a good fit in Boston.

Now he can spend all summer partying instead of being all depressed about his playing days being over.

It is no secret i never cared much for Recchi in his last 2 stints in Pittsburgh. That being said i have to agree with everyone here. One hell of a way to go out Wrecking Ball. Congrats.

Recci was a great hockey player HOF for sure. 43 yrs old and playing at the highest level. Was really happy to see him hoist the cup with a spoke B jersey.

I think all of the league hates Marchand. He is a pest for sure. Gotta say though for playing that role he is really well skilled too and he wont back off like so many of the other pests in the league.

Seeing Mark Recchi being this productive at the age of 43 is a clear indication of a couple of things:

1. He kept himself in great shape
2. He was lucky to avoid a serious injury

I know Iggy keeps himself in great shape and has avoided serious injuries up to this point in his career. I really hope Jarome finishes his career as a member of the Calgary Flames.
