I'm sure this has been mentioned in the game thread but i am in no mood to read it.

Anyhow congrats to the Lightning on the series win. They proved they were the better team and the better coached team in the series. Roloson was incredible in the series as well, hats off to him.

The Pens lacked a difference maker in the series. Nobody stepped up to take over a game simply because the talent wasn't there. The 4th line showed up to play every night except in Game 5 when absolutely nobody showed up. I was really hoping at some point Bylsma would have stuck Adams, Rupp and Asham on the PP to give them a chance to see what they could do.

So congrats to Tampa and all of the other teams who have moved on to the semi-finals.

That being said give me a Nashville-Tampa SCF.


I'll save my rant on Jordan Staal for some other time...

Honestly, I am one of those people. Because before planted in everyones brain was how you guys were gifted Crosby, and blah blah all the happy horse shit that goes with it. But now with you guys down two of your best players for a significant amount of time in the regular season, to still make the playoffs in a 1-4 seed and force a game7... Just shows the depth of the team, and that truly the Penguins dont just rely on Sidney, they can perform without him. Pittsburgh truly is a good team, all hatred aside.

I know you didnt mean just people here; I like them about the same as I ever did which isn't a whole lot though I dislike other teams a lot more. I was just being honest in that I thought their season was impressive.

Yeah, I was talking more about the people that actively talk shit on the Penguins. Without Crosby and Cooke, it seems we're downright lovable!
