(leaving the officiating out of this)

They played a great game, and answered with good drives when the Niners clearly had the momentum in the second half...

They really came out strong and exploited the fact that the Niners have been slow starters by building a big lead...

And quite frankly, John outcoached Jim...

It was a hell of a game!

Couldn't have lost to a more under-appreciated Quarterback.

Pfft. Fuck the Ravens and Joe Flacco. One of the sorriest "MVP" performances I've ever seen.

8.7 YPA on 33 attempts, 3 TDs 124.2 passer rating and no picks against the best defense in football.

Sounds pretty sorry to me. :confused2:

58 Pts given up in their last two games. Where's this defense you speak of?

Stats mean shit. Go ahead, Baltimore, give him Drew Brees money. I'm gonna laugh my ass off.

Laugh all you want. No QB has as many road playoff wins as he does and he just brought home a championship.

IDK but boasting about your defense after losing the superbowl? :spit:

I wan't boasting about the defense; I was pointing out that Joe Flacco did an amazing job in the postseason when it matters the most. And he did it today against the best defense in football.

Whose defense was better than the 49ers' this season? None of 'em were.

Three words: I HATE QBR.

It says that Kaep was below average this game (46.1). One run by Gore (no credit or blame to Kaep) and we'd have won and he'd be the MVP. Eyes matter more than this stupid stat. There were things he could have done better, the refs could have called better, the coaches called better, and players covered/executed better, but that was not below average. Flacco was great today, especially first half, but 95.1 out of 100? By comparison, Smith was 83.6 after being clutch in the last four in the Saints' game. Kaepernick was 92.6 after his 17 point comeback. I don't know. Flacco did well, too. I just don't like QBR (either one).

QBR is BS. No one knows how it's calculated except for ESPN.

This season?? Seriously?? lol! It doesn't matter how good our defense WAS in the regular season. How good was it during the playoffs when it counted? Run defense was good - pass defense sucked! That's how good it was when it counted - in the playoffs - not regular season. C'mon man, you should know this by now.

I think the lack of pass-rush in the playoffs contributed to our poor secondary...

I take nothing from the ravens, I respect their franchise a lot.

They won and they should enjoy it.
