Nothing wrong with being precautious in sports. More protective gear is not the answer.

One of the leading arguments is that all this extra protective gear is the reason for all the concussions. Getting hit by some of those shoulder pads is like hitting a brick wall. They weren't like that some time ago. Players play more freely and without caution because of it which can be harmful to others big time when contact is made between "padding" and someone elses head.
