Concussion on Bills QB Kevin Kolb threatens carrer

Buffalo Bills quarterback Kevin Kolb suffered a concussion in Saturday's preseason loss to the Washington Redskins, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Per the source, the Bills are proceeding as if the concussion, which was termed "serious," could be career-ending.

Kolb will undergo a battery of tests and the Bills do not want to rush him back even if he can continue his career, the source told Schefter.

The medical staff must make an evaluation and do the right thing by Kolb. Concussions have lasting effects. You can't play the game forever anyways.

Tuel has played well, but almost exclusively against 2nd and 3rd teamers. He wasn't as impressive this past weekend and doesn't have a great rapport with the 1st string offense yet (especially Stevie and Chandler).

Kolb was having a tough time even answering questions about who he was and where he was after the game. The hit in question was London Fletcher's knee glancing off the back of his head as he dove over Kolb to avoid the late hit, correct? Seems Kolb is very concussion-sensitive, bad news.
