What happens when you get the #1 seed, a bye, and your 2 Quarterbacks are Andy Dalton and Brian Hoyer?

You get TJ Yates starting for you in the playoffs

Happy New Year TKO!

I am a New York lover as well. Never been to Vegas, though...might be fun to check out some time.

@TKOSpikes , hey how's the fantasy hockey team going?

Thought you and @Barilk might find it interesting that this Russian kid on the Blackhawks, Artemi Panarin was given the nickname "the bread man" since his name is similar to Panera Bread.

Kind of hit a snag. Currently holding the 8th and final playoff spot at 14-14.

Like to see Yakupov and Drouin get back in action.

Penguin and Devils (my goalies) had a bad December.

Was reading an article on the Rams moving back to L.A. With options for the Chargers and possibly the Raiders.

The article mentions how the Raiders are in debt. Huh? Last year the NFL divided 6 billion (with a "B") among all 32 teams. The article implies that NFL owners try to get taxpayers to foot the bill for new stadiums. (At least the Raiders did.)

What the heck are owners doing with these millions? I know most money probably goes towards a player salaries. But c'mon. Boggles the mind that the NFL is a not-for-profit organization. (True.) Bloomberg News has their own conspiracy theory of missing money. But fans always seem to get the shaft.

Congrats to Los Angeles for getting the Rams back. My condolences to St. Louis fans.

Let's tone it down a little Chris Collinsworth. I like you. You and Al Michaels make one of the best broadcasting teams if not the best.

Aaron Rodgers is an elite QB, there's no denying it.

But Rodgers threw a Hail Mary. He wasn't trying to thread a needle to a WR crossing over the middle. He was running for his life and threw up a 41-yard jump-ball prayer to a general location in the vicinity of the end zone. A lot of QB can make that throw - an arbitrary sky-ball. The fact that Janis caught it is more of a compliment to Janis. Not the awesomeness of Rodgers.

I usually don't veer from the FF forum much but I stumbled across this thread on the NHL page. Right up your alley, buddy. The gif's are hilarious.

@averagejoe - did you witness the disgusting act of Dennis Wideman? I don't recall ever seeing something like that!

No, I hadn't. Nice crosscheck in the back. Chris Simon had the longest suspension (30 games) in NHL history. And that was for a player-to-player incident. I'm guessing that Wideman will get more than 30 games. Maybe even a year.

Have you been following the John Scott all-star saga? Unreal. Voted in as a joke by the fans. Asked to rescind. Refuses. Traded. Sent to minors. Then the NHL tries to save face. And Bettman wonders why he gets booed.

Speaking of which, really looking forward to the all-star format of 4 teams playing 3-on-3 hockey. Should be awesome.

I don't hate too many people. But I hate this guy. Hope they throw the book at him.

Hey @TKOSpikes did you hear of the Minnesota girls hockey goalie that made 111 saves in one game (although the game went through 6 overtimes).

I did not... quite a performance! Oilers could use her right about now.

Holding down the 8th and final playoff spot. My mistake at the trade deadline was trading Perron (the day before he went to Anaheim), instead of Yakupov.

Now see, that's a car commercial, "not only will you survive a head on collision with a tree, you can stilL get the kids to school on time."
