Crowder is a slot WR punt returner. Gruden gushed over Grant last year about being a good route runner slot WR. Well that took a back seat.

little evidence? did you see his cap number next year? If you think Crowder is better than Strong then there is no bother debating b/c that is just crazy. No doubt in my mind that Jones would have been in there in the 4th.

But there obviously WAS a doubt in the GMs mind. I thought it was all about trusting the GM. Apparently he made every pick you wouldnt have. And yet, I tend to think we are a much better team than we were a simple three days ago.

The first two picks are very safe picks. No doubt. Im just pissed about the 3rd round and the trade. I thought we lost a lot of value with the trade. I also feel we could of gotten Jones in the 4th. and number one guys wont be available inn next years draft . if garconn is productive the cap number will be worked out they took 2 wrs who help with special teams i have no issue with it

If we don't carry 6 WR's the Ohio St. guy will be cut. Jax, garcon, Roberts, grant, crowder. There was some comparisons to Fitz with Strong. Oh well.

Jones a D???? I'd give that pick atleast a B- you must not know much about him

Its not Strong that bothers me about the Jones pick its overdrafting a RB of all positions there.

we have a RB who can't catch and not very good in pass protection and with us moving to a big nasty o-line we got a heck of a back that can pound on teams he reminds me of a younger Marshawn Lynch

We still have a good rb though. You want to add to our backfield? fine. Just dont do it by reaching in the third round.

The problem for me is I absolutely hate drafting RBs early. But not only did we take one in the 3rd (relatively early) but he wont be our lead back, and at the least might have been a reach.

Only time will tell how well we drafted. Overall I am happy and like the picks. There is some players I think we could have gotten in later rounds and we passed on better players. However this is going on watching ZERO game tape and I wasn't invited into the war room.
