I watch a lot of college football. No, I take that back.........I watch all college football games. That is why I am so pissed lately about how the BCS formula sets up to favor teams in specific conferences. When you know your team is playing quality opponents, it is frustrating.
I looked into the opponents that each team in the top 10 has faced thus far, and added up the total records for each team's opponents.
Rank.....Team................Opp Win %
1).........Nebraska...........62%
2).........Oklahoma..........59%
3).........LSU..................58%
4).........Oklahoma St......55%
5).........Boise St............55%
6).........Oregon..............51%
7).........Alabama............50%
8).........S. Carolina.........49%
9).........Arkansas............48%
10).......Stanford.............43%
Does this tell the whole story? No. But look above..........this is why it pisses me off that South Carolina and Arkansas are ranked ahead of Nebraska at this point.
In the grand scheme of things, does it mean anything? Yes, actually. Because teams like Auburn and LSU will get more credit than they deserve when they mop the floor with teams like South Carolina and Arkansas.
