Nice. He's going to need a year or two in the S&C :scared: but yeah he's in the same mold as RG, playing in the SF AA game in Cali, great to get into NJ finally

Yes, very exciting kid. Saw more than a few tweets that compared him to a younger Randy Gregory.

ill never understand the star rating thing....how can a kid have 23 sacks his SR year, have those physical stats and only be a 3 star? Kid should be a 4-5 star, no?

it's about region. ....

If he was in cali or down south he's a bonafide 4-5 star or if an sec school like him that an automatic 4 star

3:25 had me dying. That's the greatest thing I have ever seen on a HS highlight film.

The low raking is strange indeed, he's playing in the Semper Fidelis All-American game Jan 5th, his team are 2 time state champions for the state of NJ, that's 2 in a row, also had 15 sacks his JR season

Way too much emphasis on Junior film. The way recruiting has sped up the senior evaluation process is very limitting. Ratings come out when kids finish their sophomore years in high school now (completely ridiculous) and carry through their Junior years and put a heavy emphasis on camps throughout the summer before their senior seasons.

Players like Maliek Collins, Kevin Maurice and Darius Slade didn't have the great Junior years to put them on the radar and none of them went on the camp circuit so they weren't evaluated until their highlight film came out and the recruiting services like seeing players in person. Slade should be a 4-star, no doubt about it, but the fact that he never did camps, didn't have that eye opening Junior year and is in an area (New Jersey) that is often ignored by recruiting services kept him rated lower.
