I don't mind losing Keels that much. What scares the shit out of me is that Keels is Melvin Gordon's cousin, and he said Melvin was a huge reason he committed to Wisconsin.

This likely means Melvin has told him he is going pro. Without Melvin, we go from a likely 11 win team to an 8 win team. Nebraska is probably the new favorite in the West if this means what I think it means.

All I know is, he was a need and our '14 class is rounding out very nicely.

Just heard Clouse talking about him on usc they didn't mention anything about grades, said Coaches visiting with his family this past weekend in the foul weather played a huge part

From what i've seen that's not the case. The entrance requirements for UW and Nebraska aren't that dis-similar. What COULD have happened is that Keels was struggling finding that last math class to be eligible for enrollment at semester and Nebraska found him one that worked for UNL but no Wisconsin. Wisconsin didn't help him find one so he got a bit miffed and at them. I also think Gordon is likely going pro, but that's just my personal thoughts.

This isn't the first time they've said this about a Wiscy/Nebraska flip.

There just HAS to be a reason other than the kid liked what Nebraska had to offer more than what Wisconsin did.
