Set to announce at 1pm CST... between Nebraska, Ohio State and Florida. Nebraska has been the presumed team to beat. 3-Star OT prospect with major up side. Florida and OSU really want him, he's unofficially visited both locations (including lincoln) and has a committable offer from all three schools. He's a heck of a RT prospect even if he isn't a 4-star. So...stay tuned.

In a holding pattern with Hunter Dale... we'll find out on Wednesday if he is indeed committed to Nebraska or not, BUT today a very good OT committed to Nebraska. #BOOM. 3-Star OT prospect chose Nebraska over Ohio State, Florida and others.

Google him. Croatian descent.

His Dad and Uncle were very talented players.

Congrats to John Garrison on the recruiting.

But, it ain't February 2015 yet.

Article from South Bend Tribune:

Heavyweights Ohio State and Florida extended offers.
SEC schools such as Arkansas, Missouri, South Carolina, Kentucky and Mississippi State also offered.
In all, 21 schools made it official that they wanted Mirko Jurkovic to play football for them.
In the end, though, one school clearly separated itself from the rest.
“Nothing was like Nebraska,” said Jurkovic, who spent three seasons at South Bend St. Joseph but will play his senior season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. “I can’t imagine going anywhere else.”
On Monday, Jurkovic made it official during a ceremony at the school.
The 6-foot-5, 275-pound Jurkovic is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports.com. His father, the late Mirko Jurkovic, was an All-America guard at Notre Dame in 1991.
“Mirko really blew up this spring and summer,” 247 director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong said. “He’s got the pedigree. It’s a really nice get for Nebraska.”
Jurkovic was not offered by Notre Dame, and the Irish, with three offensive line commits, are considered full at the position in the 2015 cycle.
“They got their top targets in the boat pretty quickly,” Wiltfong said.
Jurkovic became the third offensive lineman to commit to Nebraska coach Bo Pelini, and it was a two-day visit to Lincoln last month that seemed to seal things. On Monday, Jurkovic officially put his recruitment to an end.
“Kind of just got the feeling and decided to commit,” he said.
Jurkovic is rated by 247 as the No. 49 offensive guard, and Wiltfong identified versatility, along with toughness, as strengths.

I really like this committ. Our OL recruiting has been outstanding recently and it's bound to pay off huge in the next few seasons. Garrison is killing it on the trail

That he is... right now he and Warren are by far our best recruiters.
