@MaroonTyphoon Redskins appear to be up next

Went with a RB here. Chiefs are in a weird spot where they really need to improve their defense but they also already have a lot of young draft picks from the past few years so I went with my top RB left (which might be a bit of a reach?)

The flip side to that is that most Chiefs fans would be pretty ticked off that I missed out on that run of like 8 safeties in rd2.

Montgomery to KC is a really good fit, though. I could see it happening in real life.

Agree 2/3 picks on O would get them riled up.

I'm sure the Broncos face something somewhat similar when they have to choose between making their very good defense even better or trying to improve their offense.

Its just really difficult to draft defensive players for the Chiefs when they drafted 5 defensive players last year, brought in Honey Badger, brought in some stop gap pieces everywhere, and now they are switching coaches and scheme. I'm then balancing that with the fact that the Chiefs offense was great last year with a bunch of nobodies at interior OL and RB, they have no depth behind Kelce, and the offense didn't look as explosive when Sammy Watkins got banged up, and I have no idea how committed to Tyreek Hill the Chiefs actually are (and should be).

I'm under the impression that this will be a balanced Chiefs draft and not a defense heavy Chiefs draft. That probably flies against what 95% of people think but I guess we'll find out.

We strongly considered Juan Thornhill for the Packers. See him as a late riser in the draft process, but decided to go with Rock Ya-Sin due to his upside. Boom or bust for sure, but love the DB value in the 2nd round for sure.
I cant believe you didnt take Adderly

It wasn’t that he didn’t like Adderly, he’s just convinced that Ya-Sin’s upside was worth the risk there. In hindsight, he was saying he wishes he would’ve tried to trade up for Josh Jacobs. He was hoping he’d fall, but we shouldn’t have counted on that.

I wonder what he has as the team's needs and the order.

I just asked him.

#1. Help for Rodgers.
#2. Increased speed on defense.
#3. Depth for the line.
#4. Backup QB if it’s good value.

He’s less concerned about positional needs as he is getting more top line talent to boost competition.

Fair enough.

Umm Connor McGovern can only be drafted by the Broncos. It only seems right for them to have two Connor McGovern’s

It seems like every Mizzou offensive lineman ends up playing Center. Evan Boehm, Connor McGovern, Tim Barnes, Justin Britt, Mitch Morse. Not good enough to survive on the outside but on oddly consistent pipeline.

The new Connor McGovern should fare better

Connor (Broncos) was a stop gap for Paradis going down. He was much better at OG. Should be back to OG unless of course we don’t find another C.:(

I'm actually shocked he is still in the league, tbh.

I'm noticing we're getting a lot of position clumps in our drafting this year. Its really interesting. If this happens in real life then there is going to be a lot of trading.

McGovern is pretty good. Just not a center. Grew a lot from his rookie year where he saw no action. I was pleased with him last year at OG.
