well we still have Major Tuddy, worst mascot everI'm not sure if this means chasing ghosts or living in the 80s.
I honestly wonder if RR and Snyder can look in the mirror and accept the fact that they were horrible failures. I was a RR guy, liked the hire as coach. When I heard he had personnal control I knew that was a mistake. He is so clueless, his "send me a ring" comment tells us he still thinks he did a good job assembling talent.Effing Ron Rivera!
snyder got rewarded billions for turning a proud franchise to shit.I honestly wonder if RR and Snyder can look in the mirror and accept the fact that they were horrible failures. No, they will look at what they did while here as improvements. Ron will point to the dysfunction and claim he settled things down, which is true when looked at through the prism of how effed up they were when he arrived. Dan otoh, might claimed saving the franchise for the area because its sell was unsettled when he bought it.I honestly wonder if RR and Snyder can look in the mirror and accept the fact that they were horrible failures. Not sure how Ron can say he improved the dysfunction and settled things down. Granted most of the issues were before he was here but during his time the organization was in complete chaos. The owner threatening the witnesses, 2 investigations, the Sean Taylor fiascos, the list goes on and on.No, they will look at what they did while here as improvements. It was fairly easy because all he had to do was give instructions to close ranks and communicate as little with the press and socially as possible. Remember the stories were, bubbling up everywhere, there was a lot of anger, and folks were damned near in revolt. All that was taken down to a simmer until the losses began to pile up. Call it Ron's honeymoon but for those of us who never wanted to hire him, it was just a matter of time. I posted a whole piece (new thread) on why he must be relieved of duty before the next season started back then. Not sure how Ron can say he improved the dysfunction and settled things down. We went from all of that to having a GM, not an assistant, call the father of an injured player to tell him that his son was OK and gave him an update on the injury. We went from no class to total class in a little over a year.
only good thing thankfully rr did here was beat cancer which i,m glad he did.It was fairly easy because all he had to do was give instructions to close ranks and communicate as little with the press and socially as possible. Trust, if Ron can form his lips to talk about getting a ring, he'll come up with some BS related to positives when he was here.
