It may help if they change the formation for some running plays too. Defensively, you know its either up the gut or qb scramble, Tampa is not the front to make it that easy to decipher. I don't know too much about Detroit up front, but i do know their corners aren't great. The safeties are playmakers but their corners can get handled

I picked this team to make the playoffs and I thought they would beat Tampa. I hate this term, because you never know what one year may bring.

That said, in my mind, this team is officially playing with "house money," starting Saturday.

I would have been crushed if we had went one and done after the season we had. Baker would have been 2-0 vs Jayden and the playoff win/drought would have continued.

I won't be as nervous and anxious as I was last night.........who am I kidding, I'll be going crazy Saturday.

You guys get my point though. Go Skins.

They lost one of their best corners (Davis III) and struggle to rush the passer. Their offensive line usually move men in whatever direction they want to.

They have been playing with house money since early to mid December. This has been one hell of a torn around and they still have positions that could use better players.

I was thinking last night that I felt sort of like I did when George Allen came here. We had a little bit of a taste with Vince when he came but then he was gone before the next year. Of course the Gibbs era was the greatest but not such a big surprise as George Allen turning the team around or AP and DQ turning this team around after 30+ years.

For me this feels a little like 1990. We got revenge on the road (Eagles) in the same venue. Roster probably a year away. Still.....with 5, you never know.

Lions are early 8.5 point favorites, and I see them winning, but make no mistake, Id love to see them (DC) play the Eagles again.

The Eagles beat Washington in the first game, Jayden and Co. adjusted and won the second game, so a third one where both teams, once again plan for one another would be an epic, (probably fitting) end to conference play. Perhaps a signal that the NFCE is back???

Imagine this guy with an effective run game, a upgraded pass catching TE and WR! Next year, if AP does what I expect him to do, the watch-words will be "comfortable wins!"

I feel good about next year. AP might need to be just a little more aggressive with the schedule looking the way it does.

I think AP and Quinn simply wanted to turn the roster over and establish a culture before bringing in huge, high priced vets.

wow and interesting

some bulletin board material for the guys

I remember hearing that at the time. Sending Ben home wouldn't hurt my feelings, but this game is bigger than that. This is about us and the fanbase. We've suffered for so long.

What has been lost in the game vs Bucs. The Skins did a fantastic job against the run in the 1st half. I was surprised how well they played up front.

So after looking at the Bucs/Lions game early in the year, Goff had over 300 yds passing, Sun God went for over 100 yds catching, Gibbs was doing 6 yards a carry and they only scored 16 pts and lost.

Maybe just maybe we will win this game.
The Lions went nuts statistically but LOST.
The turnovers killed them, just like it did the Bucs. Time to Scar Mufasa
