It's a nice comparison in terms of the run, but I'm not exactly enamored with the Eli-Jayden comparison.I hadn't really thought about the similarities until a Giants friend of mine mentioned that this season of ours reminded him of that run

Are we talking season similarities or player similarities here? It's a nice comparison in terms of the run, but I'm not exactly enamored with the Eli-Jayden comparison.
The only "MAYBE" similarity traits I see are in what they are talking about Eli & JD5...Doubt it because Whitt has been consistent with the same scheme all year however, against the Lions we did bring more pressure. The plan is to limit Barkley from explosive plays like the 60+ yard runs he had last week as well as Hurts' long run. We need to limit them to long drives killing time off the clock and FG's. No explosive plays for TD's where they score quickly. Make Hurts beat you with his arm.
Sorry, just read it.They did both!
Eli was an avg qb , JD5 is better with just his rookie yr on the tableIt's a nice comparison in terms of the run, but I'm not exactly enamored with the Eli-Jayden comparison.
Too 5 qbRight now, without knowing anything else, where do you rank JD5 in the league?
He and burrow are right there , pick your poison , and Stafford is behind themSo, in no particular order...Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Daniels, Burrow/Stafford. Is this correct?

Eagles also didn't have Hurts in the game to pull defenders away from him for Barkley...I am willing to give props for the Washington D, but the Eagles run game with Hurts vs the Eagles run game without him are two very different animals.
This is a legitimate point. Guess we will wait and see how it plays out in the rubber match.Eagles also didn't have Hurts in the game to pull defenders away from him for Barkley...I am willing to give props for the Washington D, but the Eagles run game with Hurts vs the Eagles run game without him are two very different animals.
for sure. This is a legitimate point. Guess we will wait and see how it plays out in the rubber match.
I know there is a huge narrative in Philly that Luvu is a dirty player but I just don't see it. Dirty implies intentional in my eyes. Bang bang plays not so much. and for the record, I believe it was Hurts head hitting the ground that knocked him out.We all know Luvu will be gunning to exploit it and take him out.
