Yep, far exceeded everyone's expectations.

Poor technique by Noah I. Lucky his man wasn't targeted. Lined up with outside leverage when he should be head up or at least 3x1. Looking into the backfield at the snap instead of at his assignment. Took 2 steps forward while his man runs right by him. 17 weeks, an off season and no corrections made.

We have to run the ball effectively to keep them honest and Terry must be involved. Ertz should have a solid game, and my guess is Kliff will utilize new formations at various times during the game, especially in the red zone. Hopefully keep the penalties to a minimum and execution at a high level.

Watched the Tampa vs WASH game 1 again. Notables that game:

13-0 TB with 7:17 to go in 2nd qtr.
Mayfield played a really good game.
Mayfield had 4 passing TD's. 2 to Evans.
Mayfield extended plays 4-5 x after being touched in the backfield. Far too many missed tackles.
BSJ was killed by Evans all day.
We could not stop the run at all.
2 Missed FG's by York.
Too many 3rd & Long's for WASH
The screen game killed WASH
JD5 had a nice game running the football
Eckler had a nice day as well.
BRob had a good game.
Forbes played like Forbes.
Sanistrill in game 1 is not Mikey today.
16-7 at half, 23-14 after 3rd qtr.

Consensus: WASH can win if they play like they are capable of. TB could blow us out if we play with poor execution and too many penalties.
