Success starts by making the playoffs then its a new season. Anything can happen. If Wentz make this franchise a constant playoff team and wins one or two games in the playoffs, fans would be thankful.

Anything can happen but seldom does. Again, you are confusing NFL playoffs with the NCAA tournament. If Wentz makes us a constant playoff team......WONDERFUL!

Just not in Rivera. Let's hire a GM to run the team...then we can ALL have faith.

The best teams in the league have a GM who runs things. The GM runs the office...the coach coaches. That is what I want.

I have said this before but Super Bowl talk here is sort of hilarious.

He had an awful rookie year. While I disagree with Dean believing that Brown can be a #2 for us, I honestly think Brown is a bust. He was so terrible that I am not sure he is capable of the turnaround he needs in order to be a productive WR. He might not even make it out of camp. I just don't know at this point.

Per this source, we big against ourselves. It appears the rumors of other teams being interested in Wentz are NOT true. So it appears that our fanbase doesn't believe in him and other teams did NOT as well. I ask again, what does Rivera know that Philly, Indy and the entire rest of the league NOT know?????????????

The Athletic's Mike Sando reports an NFL executive said "nobody" competed against Washington in acquiring Carson Wentz.​

The Commanders in March acquired Wentz and a second rounder from the Colts in exchange for a second-round pick and two third rounders. Washington agreed to pay Wentz's $28 million guaranteed compensation, a perplexing concession if no other team wanted Wentz after the disastrous end to his one season in Indianapolis. “If you polled the entire league and said you can have Taylor Heinicke for $2 million and you have $26 million to spend plus two third-round picks, or you can have Carson Wentz, I’m pretty sure the majority would prefer Heinicke,” an executive told Sando. “I’d rather have Baker Mayfield and $8 million.” Washington's pursuit of Wentz speaks to the organization's desperation for a viable starting quarterback after Heinicke was exposed in 2021. Wentz's best case scenario is a few years as the team's QB before they can draft and develop a long-term option.
