If all of Watson's legal troubles were settled, and he was free to play next year, it's an option. But, I think Goodell will hold up any decisions on a suspension just to fuck Snyder over.

I wouldn't say he's washed up, but he is definitely in decline. And he'll be 32 when the season starts.

There is talk in Seattle that they are letting him see the market, so he could come back at a lower rate. I.e., if he can only make X elsewhere, why wouldn't he just take X to stay in Seattle?
