No such thing as cap if Saints can go 50 million over so can any team..
This is an interesting observation!! They were allowed to play/operate for a season at that amount over the cap and now must come into compliance with the cap.

My questions are,
1.what's the penalty for last season?

2. What happens if they violate again this year?

3. What happens if they can't meet league minimums for game day rosters?

4. Does the over the cap limit really exist or is it actually a guideline? (We know minimum expenditures have to be met because of the Bidwell family)

So many questions about this now that it seems to have gotten out of hand with this team.

Tomlinson is coming off his best 2 seasons, but even so, he didn't make the PB (he's an injury alternate).

Scherff is gonna want quite a bit more than Tomlinson. From what we're hearing in SF, Tomlinson's market is gonna be between 8 and 10M/yr (though some team could get desperate and give him as much as 12/yr). He's probably SF's highest priority FA b/c of how well he and LT T.Williams play together.

I think we are going to draft the OG Green from Texas a & m at #11. Go will a FA QB.

For all the talk about bringing in a veteran WR opposite Tmac, how about James Washington from Pitt? 25 yr old with a Deebo build and makes tremendous catches. Would certainly be a 1B type but effective at a much more affordable price.

For the right price I wouldn’t be opposed but it will depend on qb and what happens there
