Settle can start in the nfl on at least 1/4 of NFL teams

Whether he can start or not doesn't matter. Starting doesn't guarantee a DT 8-10M/year.

My question is about the real world chances that an NFL team shells out 8-10M/yr for a career backup. You think that will happen. I think teams will see that as too much of a gamble.

Ionman is making 8.75 mil as the rotational guy , settle is right there for in terms of talent . His production vs snaps is very high particularly in 20

While I like Settle he is 4th in rotation and low snap counts. I think he is lower than 8-10 million.

My top two on my free agent wish list is the MLB Campbell from GB. They are capped out and if they use the franchise tag it will be on Adams.

Number two is Jackson. The corner from Carolina. Slide him in the slot and CB is set with St. Juste as your 4th.

Not bad, the one exception would be Kerrigan! Hire him as some sort of player relations personnel position, keep the spot for a young hungry dude.
