These mock drafts and speculative picks are interesting, but any draft or talk of who to draft first has to be centered on a high end QB.
Howell is better than all of them except maybe Jaylen Daniels.

I agree with everything written. Not sure if it will happen, but losing out serves the long-term interest of this team. Losing out probably gets us to 4th and a choice between Harrsion Jr. or Fashanu. I doubt they will be favored in a game moving forward.
This draft is a really good one to get your QB. I said it before and took some BS flak for stating the obvious... the three top QBs in this draft are Williams, who by all accounts will go first in the draft. Penix Jr and Daniiels, who is now 1 and 2 for the Heisman. The next in line is Drake MayI don't see us picking first, so @Stymietee, who is your favorite QB in this draft besides Caleb, that's assuming you even liked him.
I think Drake Maye goes #1This draft is a really good one to get your QB. The Commanders would do well in getting any of the top 3 and not bad at all if they got Maye.
The rest of the field, and yes that includes Bo Nix have unclear questions about their game for me to be comfortable with.
Is it that you are really high on this class or just really down on Sam?This draft is a really good one to get your QB. Caleb has red flags for sure.I think Drake Maye goes #1
Once you are able to remove those "he's better than anyone that Washington has fielded in a long time" perspectives, you'll know that this isn't a fact based statement. Howell is a good starter in the NFL. If drafted by a good organization and handled correctly, Williams, Penix Jr. and Daniiels all are types that get an organization into sustainable relevance.Howell is better than all of them except maybe Jaylen Daniels.
Caleb would be my first choice. Don't see any on the field red flags. I'm curious if the minority ownership, only play for certain teams, crying to his mom and saying he just want to go home and watch movies are red flags or a lot to do about nothing. Caleb on the field is special.Outside of playing in a lesser conference, or maybe because of it, Maye had a lot more questions.
Excellent points and if we're all honest we ONLY care about these players because of what they offer on the field. So, unless they do something that negatively affects the product, it's much ado about nothing!Caleb would be my first choice. Don't see any on the field red flags. I lean to Harrison as well if he is thereI expect us to take multiple offensive lineman. So if he's a guard I could see them go tackle with the Bears 2nd rounder or ours. I know I'll get mocked for this but I've kinda settled on Harrsion Jr. if he's there.
I do think we end up with a top 5 pick. Harrsion might be there. Harrsion(Monk), McLaurin(Clark), and Dotson(Sanders) is a match-up nightmare for teams.
I still think we could grab our offensive lineman with our two 2nds and maybe grab Onwenu (LG NE) in free agency.
Harrsion could be viewed as a luxury but we need talent. We dont have enough players that other teams have to scheme for.
Give me the elite WR over the elite OL almost everytime. I know that's a hot take though.
I thought the board was going to call me crazy. Like minds @skinsdad62I lean to Harrison as well if he is there

Interesting perspectives gentlemen, so here's the logical follow-up to drafting Harrison.I lean to Harrison as well if he is there
Samuel is an FA and I would cut brown , I form a new posse with Harrison , Dotson and Mac and in round 2. I look at o/line and if Daniels is there I pull the trigger on him and go o/line in round 3Interesting perspectives gentlemen, so here's the logical follow-up to drafting Harrison.
What happens to your WR chart? (Is Harrison your new WR1?)
Do you move Terry to WR2 or try to trade him?
What happens to either Dotson or Samuel? possible trades?
I have been looking for a post that you (@dad) recently presented us with about EB and one of his recent pressers. In it, he talked about Howell and I believe provided the answers to your questions by stating that he, (Howell) reminded him of Alex Smith. That alone is the answer to your questions because if you remember, as good as Alex Smith was in K.C., they didn't hesitate to move on from him after they identified the player who is a huge upgrade from him. I believe that the player's name is Mah something or the other.A new organization could mean new QB , but if Howell is the best we have had since ….
Then after 18 games shouldn’t he grow into better than he is ? And if so why spend a high end 1st rounder on a QB ?
If you draft a QB high then you already are saying he isn’t the guy without a proper evaluation in my estimation
Now my mocks generally have Daniels in round 2 and that would be intriguing
Howell and Smith aren’t similar at all other then moxy and preparationI have been looking for a post that you (@dad) recently presented us with about EB and one of his recent pressers. Ok, so to be clear the "new posse" would be WR1 Harrison, WR2 TM, and slot guy Dotson correct?Samuel is an FA and I would cut brown , I form a new posse with Harrison , Dotson and Mac and in round 2. I look at o/line and if Daniels is there I pull the trigger on him and go o/line in round 3
