I think the same can be said about anybody here. I am expressing my opinion and have admitted I am wrong several times.

I am not sure what the giants have to do with Washington? If you want to come after me about the giants then that is fine. They accomplished more in 1 year than this organization has in almost 20 years. To me, that is praise worthy and I like their front office structure. I like Joe Schoenfeld and daboll...that is my opinion. I would rather have schoen and daboll than Rivera and mayhew.

I believe the giants strategy is more effective and more sound than Washington. The coach centric model doesn't work, you apparently disagree. Again, comparing 1 year under Schoen to 3 years under Rivera, and its not a contest at all. Rivera is in year 4 with a .500 record and still struggles to beat good teams. That could turn around, but not at this time. Keep in mind that Rivera has literally only won 3 playoff games in 12 years. Daboll has won 1 playoff game in 1 year as a head coach. That isn't hall of fame worthy of course, but winning 3 playoff games in 12 years is flat out awful in my opinion. You might disagree.

My main beef with Rivera is his inability to win football games and assemble a good roster. That is my opinion though for the record.
I’m not coming after you. I just trying to talk on a football forum. RR has never had a good qb. Teams who don’t have the qb position figured out look bad at pretty much every other move they make. Perfect example would be the great BB.

I just think it time for RR to go at the the season. His biggest failure as a GM has been at QB and OLine. Everyone is going to miss on players in the draft .

My bad...poor wording.
I meant challenged regarding the giants..
I don't feel you are coming after me personally. Sorry, I am multi tasking here!

I agree on the qb front. There is a strong correlation with qbs and coach success. I agree.

Like I said, Rivera has done some good things here for sure.

Is the Giants oline really thag bad, or is Jones, or is a combo of both?

Personally, I’m thrilled the Giants paid an exhorbitant amount of money for Daniel freakin Jones, because he isnt very good, and he got a lot of money.

Without Saquan relieving some pressure, Jones is……not good. At all.

By the time they get Saquan back, they’ll be out of contention.

LOL, thanks.

I miss as many as I hit on and in two years I see myself in a bass boat in Florida.

Two years I sort of thought RR drafted big Phil as a replacement for Payne. Daron played great and got paid. This year when most people saw us going CB, OL, OL, OL i think RR drafted Martin in case they could not sign Curl. Rivera seems to be hedging his bet against what might happen. In the end it doesn't and boom ... he has too many DTs and too many safeties. I think they did the same thing at DE this past draft. If you are going to sign these guys then you need to let the others go. Apparently I was not the only person to thing that, Craig Hoffman said the same thing on the radio today.

Time to move on.

Clearly terribly. Jones appears to not be the answer. They had a winning record and won a playoff game last year. Something we haven't done in almost 20 years.

what is your point? What do the giants have to do with this organization? Not following here?

Playoff win is enough for Dean to extend RR for the next 20 years and give SH an extension making him the highest paid QB in the league.

I nominate Dean as head of operations.

Dean is a good dude. We don't see eye to eye...but he is good when it all boils down.

I will say 2 things about Dean

1. He has excellent taste in nfl teams. FACTS

2. If head of operations, he would insist that Taylor Heinicke become the QB coach.

Just curious, why do you agree with rowdy?
You are entitled to your opinion of course...just curious.
I agree that the qb position is critical, but the debate originated regarding the coach centric model.
Do you agree with coach centric model Dean? Do you believe it is an effective front office model or not?

Rowdy and I don't agree on the giants front office, but I still believe their model will yield more success than ours. In a way, it already has. 2022 is my evidence. I respect and like rowdy, but we view the giants front office differently.

Do you want the next head coach to have total control and to be the GM?

That in my opinion is the debate.

I was talking about the Giants. Yes the new model is to have a HC and a GM. Not one guy does both.

You didn’t get roped into anything. You have stated numerous times that a playoff win is a job saver for RR.

I am pretty sure you liked the Daniel Jones contract too.

Just to have fun, if you had to pick, would you proceed with

Joe Schoen as GM and Daboll as HC?

Or

Rivera as GM and HC?

I am honestly curious why people don't like the giants front office. Is it because it's the giants or because schoen and daboll suck?

I never said I didn’t like their front office. I just said you need to pump the brakes on your infatuation of what they done last year. I also told you before the season why they were so overrated

If I remember correctly, I liked them resigning him but I thought the contract was too much.

I thinking you confusing what I said about geno Smith. I did like that resigning and the contract. I don't believe I said that about jones.
