I thought he was dealing with some kind of injury (besides old age). If he is bailing for the Olympics, I think the Flames would be fine with it, he's great in the room, not so great on the ice I'm afraid.

Next Steps For Jaromir Jagr & The Calgary Flames

I can see Jagr going to the Olympics and then hopefully a team in the playoffs signs him right after. Or he can just ride off in the sunset with the soon to be last place Penguins.
