Did Harvey the Hound just kidnap that child?
Flames have reduced their roster to 27 players, Spencer Foo sent to the minors, but Mark Jankowski (remember him?) has survived and may make the opening night lineup.
Craig Button has him as his number 10 in the Calder race!! So he has that going for him, which is nice.
No sign of Thomas Chabot so sadly it looks like he'll be a bust.
I do recall Burke telling us when Jankowski was drafted that in 10 years time he would be seen as the best player of that draft.Flames have reduced their roster to 27 players, Spencer Foo sent to the minors, but Mark Jankowski (remember him?) has survived and may make the opening night lineup.

We are halfway there. I'd argue he could catch the #1 overall, if that's worth anything
my bad - got my bloated pasty poorly dressed guys confused.Burke said that when he was drafted? He wasnt employed by the flames in 2012. Iirc, many shredded Feaster/weisbrod for making that pick
Jankowski looked big and imposed his will in the exhibition game v the canucks last week
/guess you gotta give the former orlando magic gm some credit. its too bad weisbrod couldnt pull his third guy (son ? )out of calgary
Their top prospect, Sven Baertschi, could be ready for the NHL soon, and that might ease some of the Flames' more immediate offensive deficiencies.
