I agree with you both on Perry. I just think it would be interesting. I'm a bit confused by what the Ducks are doing. I know the cap is an issue, but the Anderson trade has me wondering what the plan is for next season.

Another update from Flames development camp; Dave Cameron was spotted running drills.

In that case I'm guessing that Tkachuk better get used to being benched, or relegated to the 4th line, in favour of an AHL caliber goon defenseman... let's say Deryk Engeland.

I'm sure he's being considered as an assistant coach, but there's also a chance he might be heading down to the AHL team in Stockton.

The Calgary Flames announced today that Dave Cameron and Paul Jerrard will join Glen Gulutzan’s staff to work alongside existing coaches Martin Gelinas, Jamie Pringle and Jordan Sigalet. Cameron joins the Flames after spending the past six seasons with the Ottawa Senators, most recently as their head coach the last two campaigns, while Jerrard comes to Calgary after serving as an assistant coach for Vancouver’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Utica Comets.
