I think Iggy could use a new locale to re-energize his game...As I mentioned earlier, the knives are out and I'd like to see him move on before it gets too ugly.

There should be a NHL reality show along the lines of wife swap - first two contestants would be Iginla and Smyth - there are so many juicy storylines to run with that.

Happy for Danny Taylor, and I'm afraid this spells the end of the line for Leland Irving in the Flames organization.

Really though, he'd be a great fit. It's all about the cost in the long run. Iggy may be too expensive, and he's gonna be a big target for a lot of teams.

I would keep (in no particular order) Brodie, Baertschi, Backlund, Hudler, Cervenka, Wideman, and Danny Taylor. That's it, have a fire sale on or before April 3rd and get as many draft picks as you can for the upcoming draft.

Honestly, I think he could still fetch a 1st round pick or a top prospect. He was one of the best Flames last night.
