I mean, we'll have to wait and see, but they are amongst the best teams in the league as far as points are concerned.

They also have picks and some not-terrible prospects. Few of the teams bottoming out right now have goalies they can move (Talbot, Reimer, Vejmelka, Lankinen). If they want they can shore it up without it costing too much and still have room to be in on some of the higher-end rentals.

Vegas' biggest problem is health. If Eichel/Stone hit the LTIR for a long time, if Pietrangelo is out for an extended period with whatever he's dealing with, etc. they're going to start to slide (as anybody would).
